A school children want to come to
Running since 2014. In that time eleven year groups have graduated.
Danek opened in 2014 as a small private school for families who care about attention to the child rather than the number of children in the room.
Today we teach children from year one to year eleven. We deliberately keep classes to no more than 18: at that size a teacher has time to ask everyone and to notice when a child has not understood something.
The school day starts at 08:30 and ends at 18:00 including the after-school club and activities. Parents do not have to work out who collects the child at lunchtime.
How the day is organised
08:30 - lessons
The harder subjects go in the morning, while attention is fresh.
13:15 - lunch and rest
Years 1-2 have a quiet hour in a separate room.
14:30 - after-school club
Homework with a teacher on hand.
16:00 - activities
Robotics, chess, singing, football.
18:00 - home
The child leaves with the homework done.
